BAYLOR GIRLS 46, EAST HAMILTON 29:  As for the Red Raiders, the girls' basketball squad would handle the East Hamilton Hurricanes in a 46-29 route. Duo Hadleigh Worton and Bella White performed flawlessly against the lady Hurricanes as the two shared 34 total points.

Opening in a press defense, the Lady Red Raiders would quickly switch to a 2-3 zone that would cause chaos for the attacking East Hamilton squad. No longer able to feed the inside, the Lady Hurricanes struggled to get anything going offensively as perimeter shots clanked off the rim throughout the night.

"We played a little man early but then opened up in a zone," said Lady Red Raiders head coach John Gibson. "We did a great job of making them in front of us and make them try and beat us from overtop." The defensive sets held the Lady Hurricanes to single-digits in three quarters and allowed for Baylor to pull away with ease.

Bella White, a fifth-year starter for the Lady Red Raiders, took advantage of the miscues by East Hamilton as most of her points came from fast-break baskets.

"I have learned a lot since my eighth-grade year. As a senior, I am trying to help lead my team," said White. "We run the floor as fast as we can. We keep the ball moving to find that open look. We had a couple of fast breaks, and I got a few layups."

With the win, the Lady Red Raiders will face off against the Lady Warriors of Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe in the championship round of the Best of Prep's tournament.
