The Baylor softball team is headed back to Murfreesboro going for their 8th straight title.
Baylor defeated St. Benedict in two games to secure their spot in the final four.
In the first game, Avery Shamblin was dominant on the mound allowing only 2 hits and fanning 13 batters.

Sydney Sharpe was 3-3 including a triple, with a walk, 2 runs scored, and 4 RBIs.

Kaylee Snyder cleared the bases with a double off the fence, and plated another run later in the game for 4 RBIs.

Holly Merritt had two hits, driving in the first run of the game. Riley Oleksik had 2 hits, Morgan Sharpe a double, and Addi Yates hit a solo home run to seal the deal at 10-0.
In the second game, Kaylee Snyder picked up the W in the circle allowing 2 hits and striking out 6. She was equally impressive at the plate going 3-3, including a home run, finishing with 6 RBIs.
Senior Morgan Sharpe was 2-2, 2 walks, a stolen base, and scored all four times. Her last at bat on her home field was a solo home-run.
Katie Raper also had two hits and 2 RBIs sending one ball over the road into the woods.

Holy Merritt and Sydney Sharpe both contributed hits that scored two runs each. Kylie Henderson had an RBI single, and Addi Yates, Riley Oleksik each had a hit.
Baylor is now 19-6-1 and will play Wednesday in Murfreesboro.
