After expecting a night off due to a cancellation, Baylor quickly replaced the game with one of the toughest girls programs in Chattanooga and rose to the challenge, competing hard from start to finish.
The Lady Red Raiders jumped out to an early lead after the first quarter, 15–13, but trailed at halftime, 28–34. The third quarter proved to be the difference, as Hamilton Heights outscored Baylor 19–9 to create separation.
Despite the setback, Baylor showed resilience and fought until the final buzzer.
Baylor was led in scoring by:

- Xahara Willis: 6 points
- Shelby Queener: 6 points
The Lady Red Raiders return home Tuesday night to take on Knoxville Catholic at 5:00 PM.
