The Baylor women's lacrosse team continued its strong start to the season, improving to 5–0 with two impressive varsity wins over the weekend on campus.
Friday night, Baylor opened a doubleheader with the boys team on Tucker Hunt Field, taking control early and rolling to a 21–7 victory over Carrollton. The Red Raiders showcased a balanced attack and strong tempo throughout the game to set the tone for the weekend.
The momentum carried into Saturday afternoon as Baylor returned to the field and delivered another dominant performance, defeating Seymour 21–5. The offense once again clicked for the Red Raiders while the defense limited scoring opportunities to secure the program's fifth straight win to begin the season.
Saturday was a full day for Baylor lacrosse. Following the varsity victory, the Baylor JV team added a 7–2 win over Soddy Daisy, continuing the program's successful afternoon. At the same time, Baylor's middle school teams were hosting games throughout the day at Heywood Stadium, making it a busy and exciting day for lacrosse across campus.
After a demanding stretch of games, the Red Raiders will take a short break before returning to action next weekend. Baylor will host another pair of home contests on Tucker Hunt Field, welcoming Hoover on Friday and Fellowship on Saturday.
With the early momentum and depth across the program, Baylor women's lacrosse continues to build toward what looks to be an exciting season ahead.
