Congratulations to our outstanding student-athletes on bringing home some of the area's top honors Thursday night at the Times Free Press Best of Preps Banquet.

Katie Grace Tuder was named the Brooke Pancake Female Golfer of the Year, a well deserved recognition for an outstanding season.

Addy Cotter earned Phoebe Wright Chattanooga Best of Preps Cross Country Runner of the Year honors for the second consecutive year, continuing her remarkable success.

David Gabriel Georges was selected as the Scrappy Moore Male Athlete of the Year after a dominant junior season that saw him rush for 1,756 yards and 27 touchdowns, leading Baylor to a perfect 12-0 record and the TSSAA Division II-AA State Championship. He enters the 2026 season as the nation's No. 2 running back prospect.

Anurag Kallambella was recognized with the Guerry Boys' Tennis Award, adding another honor to an exceptional year on the court.
