Playing Career
Coach Kimrey was awarded All-State honors as the QB in high school where he played under his father, Bill Kimrey. His senior year he broke 5 state passing records. He went on to play at the University of South Carolina from 1998-2002.
Coaching Career
Upon graduation, Coach Kimrey stayed at USC to be a GA in 2003 coaching tight ends. He then became the Head Coach at Hammond and was there for 16 years. While at Hammond, his record was 194-20, he won 12 state championships, and was the youngest and fastest coach to win 100 games. He is the only coach in South Carolina history to win 6 consecutive state championships.

Coach Kimrey is married to Erika Kimrey, and they have three children; Kaitlyn Dean, Karis, and Ty.
