Playing Career
Jules began her coxing career at PLC in 8th grade and was named Captain of Boats in her Senior year. She received a Morongo Medal as a Senior for her dedication to rowing during High School. While she was studying at University in Australia, she was a member of and competed at various regattas for Hawthorn Rowing Club, LaTrobe University Rowing Club and Melbourne Rowing Club. As an exchange student, she coxed the Varsity Eight in the Spring of 2015 for the Rutgers University Men's Crew Team during their 150th year as a collegiate team. In this season she earned a win over Delaware as well as competing at the EARC Sprints Regatta in Worcester, Mass. She paved the way for future female coxswains to join the RU team the following year. Occasionally, she does return to the coxswain seat, most recently in the men's club four event at the Head of the Charles Regatta in 2019 with one of her Rutgers teammates. 

Coaching Career
Fall 2022 is her first season at Baylor. Prior to this she was the Head Novice Girls Coach, Novice Coordinator and Summer Camp Coordinator at Princeton National Rowing Assocation/Mercer Rowing in New Jersey. In her role as Summer Camp Coordinator, she oversaw the Summer Learn to Row camps that had over 200 campers and she coordinated 80 athlete coaches. 
Her most recent results include coaching: 4th place finish in the Novice 8+ event at the 2021 Head of the Schuylkill; 1st place finish in the Novice 8+ event at the Metropolitan Youth Speed Order in March 2022; 2nd place finish in the Novice 4+ event and 3rd place finish in the Novice 8+ event at USRowing's 2022 Mid Atlantic Youth Championship. During her first season in 2019 at Mercer Rowing, she was the Varsity Girls' Assistant Coach and guided her Women's Youth Pair to a 9th place finish at USRowing Youth National Championships. During the 2021/2022 rowing season she also coached Masters Rowing at the Carnegie Lake Rowing Association.  Coach Jules started her coaching career at her high school and was the Freshman coach, Novice Coordinator and Director of Rowing before relocating to the US. She completed the highest level of certification, the Level 3 Coaching Certificate course, with USRowing in 2021.

She is married to Patrick Howarth. They have one child, Ava.
