Playing Career
In high school, Gary was the Chattanooga Times Player of the Year in 1978. He was awarded All-State honors in 1978 for football. Coach Partrick went on to APSU on a football scholarship. After suffering a neck injury, he was no longer able to play on the field so he became the Receiver Coach from 1982-1983 while finishing his degree. 

Coaching Career
Coach Partrick has led Baylor to 14 State Championships and 13 Runner-Up titles in golf. He has been named Chattanooga Area Coach of the Year in 4 different sports (football, baseball, boys golf, girls golf), and the NFHS National Coach of the Year in 2010. 5 of his former golfers are now on the PGA/LPGA tours. 

Personal
He is married to Connie Partrick, and they have two children; Price and Paige.
