Playing Career
Coach Moody began her lacrosse career as a goalie in ninth grade and quickly established herself as a standout at Woodstock High School. She was a four-year starter, earning All-American honors as both a junior and senior while serving as team captain during those seasons.
She continued her playing career at the collegiate level, beginning at Lees-McRae College where she was the starting goalkeeper. She later transferred to Shorter University, finishing her degree while continuing as a starting goalie. She still holds records at both institutions.
Coaching Career
Coach Moody began her coaching career in 2011 with Hotlanta Lacrosse, working with players during the summer club season. In 2014, she joined the coaching staff at Baylor School, where she has played a key role in the program’s growth.
In 2019, Coach Moody was named Head Varsity Coach and Girls Lacrosse Director at Baylor. In addition to her work at the high school level, she is the director of Southern Edge Lacrosse, which operates leagues and tournaments serving over 5,000 players annually. Through this work, she has played a significant role in expanding access to the game and developing youth lacrosse across the Chattanooga and greater Southeast region.
