Baylor gets back on track vs Knox Catholic in their first Region game of the season, winning 12-0 in 5 innings.
Riley Oleksik was impressive at the plate hitting two, three run home-runs and a double. Addi Yates was 2 for 2 with 2 stolen bases, and Holly Merritt hit a solo home-run along with a single and a walk.
Kaylee Synder earned the win for Baylor striking out eight, allowing zero hits. Rylee Jasper made her first appearance on the mound facing 6, striking out 3, for the combined no hitter. Catholic only had one batter reach base in the game.
Snyder also had a great day at the plate hitting a solo home-run and a single. Rylee Jasper, Brenley Gentry, and Rory Oleksik also added singles for the Red Raiders.
Baylor plays in the Southern Warrior Classic Thursday and Friday in Murfreesboro.
