Baylor finished regular season play beating CCS 8-0, claiming another Region Championship.
Avery Shamblin held the Chargers to six hits with seven strikeouts in a complete game shutout.
Riley Oleksik was 3-4 at the plate with 2 doubles, a homerun, and 4 RBIs. Holly Merritt had 2 singles, and a sac fly RBI. Addi Yates was 2-3 with a walk and stolen base.
Rory Oleksik had 2 singles, Kaylee Snyder contributed an RBI single, and Xahara Willis blasted a double. Rylee Jasper and Syd Sharpe also had hits for Baylor.
Baylor will host Tipton Rosemark next week for the quarterfinals.
