Baylor led the way among area programs, with four Red Raiders on the Division II-AA All-State team: senior pitcher/first baseman Tomas Valincius (.444 batting average, 10 homers, 43 RBIs, 8-1, 1.26 ERA, 84 strikeouts, 50 innings pitched), senior outfielder Amari Jefferson (.406, nine homers, 48 RBIs, 15 stolen bases), senior third baseman/reliever Nelson McKnight (.350, five homers, 39 RBIs, 1.90 ERA) and junior pitcher Jax Bishop (5-0, 2.47 ERA, 40 strikeouts)
