Baylor put on a dominant performance Tuesday night, overwhelming Chattanooga Christian 86-48 with a fast start and relentless offense.
From the opening tip, Baylor wasted no time asserting control, racing out to a 22-5 lead after the first quarter. Their defensive pressure and efficient scoring carried into the second, as they extended the advantage to 41-18 at halftime.
Baylor kept its foot on the gas in the third, opening the quarter with a 6-0 run that forced CCS to call a timeout with 6:38 left in the period. By the time CCS finally got back on the board at the 4:55 mark, Baylor had built a 55-18 lead.
By the end of the third quarter, the score had ballooned to 68-34, initiating a running clock for the remainder of the game. Baylor continued to dominate until the final buzzer, closing out an 86-48 victory.
