Baylor Softball drops its regular season finale in extra innings on the road.
The Red Raiders had already secured the No. 1 seed in the East and will host Tipton-Rosemark, the No. 2 seed from the West, next week in a best-of-three playoff series. Win the series — and it's off to Spring Fling in Murfreesboro!
Offensive Highlights:
- Mary Blake Reese went 2-for-3 with a 2-run homer and a key defensive double play.
- Xahara Willis doubled and added an RBI single.
- Adison Wallington had two hits, including a solo home run.
- Rylee Jasper led off the game with a solo homer.
- Chloe Cunningham delivered a clutch RBI single.
Baylor finishes the regular season at 19-7-1, going undefeated at home. The Red Raiders will look to keep that streak alive next week as they begin the journey toward a 10th straight TSSAA State Championship.
