The Baylor Red Raiders continued their strong start to the season with another impressive performance, defeating the Whitwell Tigers 10–0 on a big night at the plate.
Baylor's offense was rolling from the start, collecting 10 hits in just four innings. Eighth grader Spencer Higgins led the charge with a huge game, blasting two home runs and driving in three runs. Harper Reeves added to the offensive surge, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Xahara Willis also showed her power at the plate with a two-run home run and a double, while Adison Wallington stayed hot by going 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles.
In the circle, Rylee Jasper was dominant, striking out seven batters to earn the win. She also helped her own cause at the plate with a two-run home run.
The Red Raiders will look to keep the momentum going this weekend as they compete in the CCS Invitational at Warner Park.
