The Baylor Athletic Department has announced Carly Briggs as Head Girls' Tennis coach. While Briggs and Boys Head Coach Ned Caswell will both continue to work with both programs, Caswell will formally oversee the Boys' program while Carly will exercise head coaching duties with the Girls' team.

Briggs has served as an assistant coach in the Baylor Tennis program over the last two years, helping lead both programs to back-to-back TSSAA Division II-AA State Titles in 2025 and 2026.
A native of Calhoun, Georgia, Carly came to Baylor from a highly decorated tennis career at the University of Florida where she earned both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education as well as a Masters in Business Management.

As a player for the Gators, Briggs was an All-American in Singles in the spring of 2023 and was named to the SEC All-Tournament team in 2024. She achieved a career high No.34 ITA Singles ranking in 2023 and an even more impressive No. 6 ITA ranking in Doubles.
