Baylor improved to 2-0 on the season Friday night, using a big second half to pull away from Loudoun Sports Academy for a 37-12 victory at Heywood Stadium.
The Red Raiders produced 422 yards of total offense, including 313 through the air, while the Baylor defense forced two turnovers and held Loudoun to 257 total yards.
Baylor struck first late in the opening quarter when Sam Shutters connected on a 27-yard field goal to give the Red Raiders a 3-0 advantage.
David Gabriel Georges extended the lead in the second quarter, scoring on a 1-yard run with 3:58 remaining before halftime. Loudoun answered with a touchdown in the final seconds of the half, sending Baylor into the locker room with a 10-6 lead.

Quarterback Keegan Croucher connected with Antwaun "Cornbread" Adams for a 39-yard touchdown with 8:42 remaining in the third quarter. Croucher struck again later in the period, finding Beckham Stokes for a 55-yard touchdown that pushed Baylor's advantage to 23-6.
Croucher added to the lead early in the fourth quarter when he broke free for a 23-yard touchdown run, giving Baylor a 30-6 advantage.
After Loudoun scored its second touchdown of the night, Baylor answered one final time. Croucher connected with Jayden Cauvier for a 13-yard touchdown with 4:25 remaining to complete the scoring.
Croucher finished an efficient 20-of-28 passing for 313 yards and three touchdowns without an interception. He also added a 23-yard touchdown run.
Adams turned in a big night on both sides of the ball and was named the Tuff Player of the Game. He led Baylor with five receptions for 131 yards and a touchdown, including a 44-yard reception, while also contributing on defense and special teams.
Stokes caught three passes for 61 yards and a touchdown, while Braxton Rein added five receptions for 60 yards. Cauvier had two catches for 18 yards and a score.
On the ground, Georges led Baylor with 70 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.
Baylor averaged 8.1 yards per play and recorded 20 first downs while committing no turnovers. The Red Raiders also held Loudoun to just 78 rushing yards.
After leading just 10-6 at halftime, Baylor outscored Loudoun 27-6 in the second half to secure its second victory of the young season.
The Red Raiders are now 2-0 to begin the 2026 campaign.
