Playing Career
Coach Blair was awarded "All-State" honors as a senior in 1996. He went on to play all 4 years at Tennessee Wesleyan University, where he served as the team captain from 1997-1999.

Coaching Career
As an assistant coach at Baylor, he helped the boys' team win a state title in 2006. In 2008 he took over as head coach and has had great success. He has led the boys' team to 3 State Championships and the girls' team to 4. He has been State Runner-Up once with boys and twice with the girls. In 2018 Curtis was awarded the "Scrappy Moore Coach of the Year" award. He has also been named TSSAA "Coach of the Year" in 2012, 2018, 2020, and 2022. Blair was awarded the "National Coach of the Year" award in 2023. He has been inducted into the Greater Chattanooga Area Hall of Fame, the Tennessee Wesleyan Hall of Fame, and the Soddy Daisy Hall of Fame.

Personal
Coach Blair teaches PE in the Middle School, and he is a dorm parent in Hunter Hall. He is married to Leslie Blair and they have three children; Hollyn, Hudson, and Cooper.
