3rd Consecutive Win For Baylor Track & Field

Baylor Track & Field program notched its third consecutive team win on Tuesday evening with victories over Chattanooga Christian & Howard. Baylor girls 120, CCS 42, Howard 10. Baylor boys 83, CCS 67, Howard 26.  #GoBigRed  #trackandfield. #anothergreatnight

Evie Culbreath led the way with four dominant victories (high jump, 100hurdles, 300 hurdles, relay), and her teammates followed suit. Maddie Winchester (shot put & discus) & Jada Cooper (400m & 200m) were double winners. The Baylor girls had five additional individual winners: Franny Brooksbank (triple jump), Baker Young (long jump), Addison Johnson (1600m), Helen Webb (3200m), Mae Mae Powe (800m). Three Baylor relays won: 4x800 (Addi Greene, Webb, Laney Fowler, Powe), 4x100 (Brooksbank, Eleanor Ingram, Corrine Hessler, Mya Houston), 4x400 (Culbreath, Powe, Fowler, Young).
 
The Baylor boys team effort was led by two double winners and five individual athletes. Seniors Spencer Rushing (110 hurdles & 330hurdles) & Chris Knight (1600m & 800m) paced the Raiders. Gilbert Stein (high jump), Cody Davenport (triple jump), Keaton Whaley (100m), Lake Montgomery (3200m), & Gage Whited (400m) all took away victories. Two Baylor relays won: 4x800 (Burke Murphy, John Scheppens, Van Ogorsolka, Montgomery) and 4x100 (Cody Davenport, Odin Phillips, Whaley, Balint Rendessy).

Next up is the CCS Fast Break Invitational on April 15th.
