
Henry Ford was clutch at the plate with runners on base on Monday, driving in seven on two hits to lead The Red Raiders past Knoxville Catholic 13-3 on Monday. Ford drove in runs on a home run in the third and a grand slam in the fifth.

Baylor secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the fifth inning. The Red Raiders put the pressure on, lead by home runs by Tomas Valincius and Ford, a single by Will Pettway, and a double by Mack Whitcomb.
Knoxville Catholic got things started in the first inning when Parris grounded into a double play, scoring one run.
Baylor knotted the game up at two in the bottom of the second inning, when Nelson McKnight doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run and pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Ford homered on a 0-1 count, scoring three runs and Caleb Hampton hit a solo homer.
The Baylor Red Raiders tallied seven runs in the fifth inning. Valincius, Whitcomb, Pettway, and Ford each drove in runs during the inning.
Valincius took the win for The Red going five innings, allowing three runs on five hits, striking out four and walking one.
Sompagne started the game for Knoxville Catholic. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing nine hits and six runs while striking out two and walking one. Kolesar threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.
The Men in Red socked five home runs on the day. Valincius went yard in the fifth inning. John Emendorfer had a long ball in the first inning. Ford had a four bagger in the third and fifth innings. Hampton had a dinger in the third inning.
In the game Baylor Red Raiders totaled 14 hits. Valincius, Ford, McKnight, Emendorfer, and Whitcomb all managed multiple hits on the night. Whitcomb, Emendorfer, McKnight, Ford, and Valincius each collected two hits to lead The Baylor Red Raiders.
