The tradition of Baylor Baseball extends well beyond the high school diamond as former Red Raiders continue to make their mark at the collegiate and professional levels.
Three Baylor alumni have recently earned national recognition through some of baseball's most prestigious honors.

Former Red Raider Nick Kurtz was selected to participate in the Major League Baseball All Star Game, another milestone in his impressive professional career. Kurtz's selection places him among the game's elite while continuing Baylor's tradition of producing players who excel at the highest level.

Former Baylor standout Tomas Valincius has been named to the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team, earning the opportunity to represent the United States against top international competition. The Collegiate National Team features many of the nation's premier collegiate players and has long served as a proving ground for future Major League talent. And started the Gold medal game for Team USA Tuesday morning.

Adding to an exciting summer for Baylor Baseball, Henry Ford was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 2026 Major League Baseball Draft. Ford's selection is another example of the Red Raiders' commitment to developing student athletes who are prepared to compete at the next level.
The future of Baylor Baseball is just as bright.
Current Red Raiders Blake Lundy and Mac Morris will represent Baylor later this summer at the prestigious East Coast Pro Showcase in Hoover, Alabama. More than just a showcase, East Coast Pro is an exclusive opportunity for many of the nation's top high school players to compete in a professional environment while performing in front of Major League Baseball scouts and evaluators. Baylor has established a strong tradition at the event, with more than 10 former Red Raiders having participated in the East Coast Pro Showcase since 2021.
From the Major League Baseball All Star Game and USA Baseball's Collegiate National Team to the MLB Draft and East Coast Pro Showcase, Baylor Baseball continues to develop student athletes who compete on some of baseball's biggest stages.
The accomplishments of Nick Kurtz, Tomas Valincius , Henry Ford, Blake Lundy, and Mac Morris reflect not only their dedication to the game, but also the strength of a Baylor Baseball program that continues to produce outstanding players year after year.
