McCallie edges Baylor to extend streak of team tennis state titles
Much like the April matchup between the Chattanooga rivals, Baylor won the doubles point, forcing McCallie to need four wins in singles. And the Blue Tornado got it with Imorde, Sean Clark, Andrew "Drew" Holland and Lee Fiorello taking the victories after the match was sent inside the Adams Tennis Center due to storms in the Murfreesboro area.
Baylor's doubles teams of No. 1 Arya Kallambella and Jace Sanford and No. Wade Donovan and Jackson Mactaggert were winners, with Kallambella also winning at No. 1 singles and Sanford winning at No. 4 singles.
Baylor has won 15 team titles in boys' tennis, but the Red Raiders have been runners-up three times since their most recent championship was won in 2016.
