The Baylor Middle School softball team won the ISC tournament championship beating Boyd Buchanan 6-5.
 
Baylor jumped out to an early lead in the first inning scoring 3 runs. Emma Hartline and Ellison Dematteo scored on a double by Harper Reeves. Abby Wright extended the lead with a RBI single.
 
In the second inning Wrigley Burge was hit by a pitch then advanced to second with a stolen base. Hartline roped a single into left field scoring Burge.
 
Boyd tied the game at 4-4 in the bottom of the third, before Baylor rallied again to take a 6-4 lead. Laila Jefferson and Ella Higgins both reached on errors, Jefferson scoring on the errant throw, then Hartline drove her second hit of the night into left field to score the 6th run.
 
Abby Wright was outstanding on the mound for the Red Raiders going the distance and striking out 7, including the last two batters with runners on 2nd and 3rd base.
 
Emma Hartline was 2-4, with 2 RBIs, also reaching on an error. Wright had 2 hits with 1 RBI. Harper Reeves 1 double plating 2, and Ellison Dematteo and Spencer Higgins also contributed singles.

Baylor finished the season 12-1 with their only loss coming early in the season to Boyd. Baylor beat Boyd in their second regular season matchup.
 
Ellison Dematteo, Emma Hartline, and Abby Wright were selected to the ISC All-Conference team.
