Soccer Goes 1-1-1 in Knoxville

Baylor Soccer goes 1-1-1 over the weekend at Bearden's tournament against some good teams from the Region.
 
Game 1: Baylor tied Maryville 0-0.
 
"I thought we did a great job of keeping possession and creating chances. We were as good in the final third as we needed to be, but I was proud of our effort and focus."- Coach Blair
 
Standouts: Sara Hill (GK), Olivia Newton, Calais Justice, Charlotte Hoss, Paige Thompson, Alison Noland
 
Game 2: Baylor lost to Houston 0-1.
 
Houston scored off of a penalty kick at the 21st minute. 
 
It was 0-1 at halftime.
 
It ended 0-1.
 
"I thought the game had the intensity level of a state tournament game. I was really proud of our effort and intensity. Both teams had some great chances in both halves."- Coach Blair
 
Game 3: Baylor defeated Hendersonville 2-0.
 
At the 16th minute, Avery Listen scored off a Reese Rowlett.
 
It was 1-0 at halftime.
 
At the 50th minute, Reese Rowlett scored off a Zoe Misenhimer corner kick.
 
It ended 2-0.
