What a weekend for Big Red! Competing on one of the biggest stages in the region, Coach
Jeff Gaither's Baylor squad delivered a string of standout performances—breaking
FOUR school records, grabbing podium finishes, and continuing to build something special.
Here's a full look at the highlights:
•
Ellie Higgs – Threw
126'-1" in the
discus, placing
3rd overall with a huge performance to lead the field event squad.
•
Boys Distance Medley Relay – Cash Carlson, Gage Whited, Mercer Murphy, and Marshall McConville finished
2nd with a
school record time of
10:22.22.
•
Addy Cotter •
Won the 3200m with a
school record time of
10:39.47 Won the 1600m in
4:59.98, becoming just the
second Baylor girl ever to break the
5:00 barrier — a historic moment!
•
Maelynn Adams-Cook – Set a
school record in the
300m hurdles, finishing
3rd with a time of
44.55.
•
Marshall McConville – Finished
2nd in the 1600m with a strong time of
4:14.
•
Gage Whited –
Won the 400m in
49.04 and ran a key leg in the record-setting DMR.
•
Gilbert Stein – Took
3rd in Triple Jump with a leap of
42' 9.75".
