Baylor hosted previously undefeated Hardin Valley and jumped out fast:
- 10' – Hadley Griffith scored off an Elizabeth Silva cross
- 14' – Silva finished a pass from Ryleigh Ramey
- 18' – Paige Thompson put away a corner from Lilly Catalanotto
Baylor took a 3–0 lead into halftime.
In the second half:
- 43' – Zoe Misenhimer converted a penalty after Maddie Hawk was fouled in the box
- 47' – Silva netted her second off a cross from Zoe
- 68' – Hardin Valley pulled one back on a corner kick

Coach Blair:"I thought we started the game really well. We moved the ball quickly and our movement off the soccer ball was very good. We are still trying to find our identity as a team and it's coming along."
