What a day for BXC! Championship performances, incredible pack running, PRs, and so much growth!
GIRLS VARSITY — BACK-TO-BACK AREA CHAMPIONS!
For the second straight year, Baylor brings home the Area Team Championship! Addy Cotter won at home by more than a minute, followed by Gracey Weekley in 13th, Tegan Lewis in 15th, Mabry Rogers with a PR in 17th, and Sally Frost in 18th. Hannah McAnally and Brie Duke, who also recorded a PR, rounded out the squad.
BOYS VARSITY — AREA RUNNER-UP!
The boys finished just ONE POINT shy of the team title! Strong races from Cash Carlson, Harrison Stroud, and Brecken McKenna led the way, while Simon Fowler and Ford Vaughn added PRs.
GIRLS JV — AREA RUNNER-UP!
The JV girls finished runner-up, with 17 athletes recording PRs or season bests! What an incredible way to finish the season.
More than times. More than titles. GROWTH.
BOYS JV — AREA CHAMPS!
The JV boys ran to a resounding victory in a terrific team race. Led by a strong runner-up finish from freshman, Hudson Green, the squad packed up, raced for points, and came away with a great win. This was the first win for the JV team at the Area Championship meet in over 20 years! A testament to the depth of the group and trajectory of the program!
