Baylor Baseball Well Represented on 2026 Best of Preps Team
The Chattanooga Times Free Press has announced its 2026 Best of Preps Baseball Team, recognizing the top players from across the Chattanooga area. Baylor Baseball earned four selections, highlighting the success of another outstanding season.
Brooks Berry – Infielder
The Alabama signee led the Red Raiders with a .341 batting average and had a school-record nine triples while scoring 37 runs and driving in 22.
Wells Grisham – Pitcher
The University of Pittsburgh signee finished the spring with an 8-0 record, a 2.54 ERA, and 81 strikeouts in 44.2 innings pitched.
Blake Lundy – Catcher
The Tennessee commit batted .407 with 14 home runs and 43 RBI while throwing out 15 of 18 runners attempting to steal.
Mac Morris – Infielder
The Alabama commit, Mac hit .360 this season and led the state semifinals with 11 runs scored while adding 19 stolen bases and 13 doubles.
Congratulations to Brooks, Wells, Blake, and Mac on earning Best of Preps honors. These four athletes played a major role in Baylor's run to the state tournament and continued the tradition of excellence that defines Baylor Baseball.
