Best of Preps Honors for Baylor Softball

The Chattanooga Times Free Press has announced its 2026 Best of Preps Softball Team, and Baylor Softball is well represented among the area's top athletes. The annual Best of Preps program recognizes the top high school athletes and coaches across the Chattanooga region, with honorees being celebrated at the Best of Preps Banquet on June 25.
Congratulations to the following Baylor student-athletes who earned Best of Preps recognition:

• Adi Wallington (Junior, Pitcher/Infielder) Wallington batted .505 with six home runs and was also the ace in the circle for the Lady Red Raiders. She helped lead Baylor to the Division II-AA State Championship Series and was one of the area's most complete players throughout the season.
• Xahara Willis (Sophomore, Catcher) Willis crushed 15 home runs this spring for the Lady Red Raiders while helping Baylor win 25 games and finish as Division II-AA State Runner-Up. Her power at the plate made her one of the most feared hitters in the region.

Congratulations to Adi and Xahara on this well-deserved recognition. We look forward to celebrating their accomplishments at the Best of Preps Banquet on June 25.
