Baylor Volleyball Ready to Build on a Strong Summer

As the 2026 volleyball season approaches, the Baylor School volleyball team is eager to turn a productive summer into success on the court.

Under the leadership of Head Coach Sarah Lail, the Red Raiders have made the most of the offseason. Throughout the summer, the team has worked hard both on and off the court, building chemistry, developing skills, and preparing for another challenging season.

Now entering her 18th season leading the Baylor volleyball program, Lail continues to build on one of Tennessee's premier volleyball traditions. Her teams have consistently competed among the state's best, and this year's squad is focused on continuing that standard of excellence.

Baylor returns a talented and well-balanced roster that features experienced leadership along with a promising group of younger players. The competition throughout the preseason has created an environment where every practice matters as the Red Raiders continue preparing for the opening of the season.

The Red Raiders will get an early opportunity to test themselves on Thursday afternoon as Baylor hosts a preseason playday on campus. The event will provide valuable match experience as the team continues to prepare for its season opener next month against Soddy Daisy.

With the foundation laid throughout the summer and excitement building around the program, Baylor is looking forward to another competitive season while continuing to represent the tradition and excellence of Red Raider volleyball.
