Work Never Stops: Baylor Cross Country Ready for the Road Ahead

For Baylor Cross Country, summer has been all about consistency, commitment, and building something special.

After a historic 2025 season that saw BXC athletes break records and earn personal bests and podium finishes, the crew got right back to work after graduation and, aside from the required dead period, they've been showing up ever since. Six days a week, we've had an incredible group of runners putting in the work together. Their dedication to one another and to the process has been inspiring to watch.

We're especially excited to see so many of our middle school athletes joining us throughout the summer. A huge thank you to our middle school coaches for encouraging these young runners and helping create a culture that stretches from middle school through varsity.

This weekend, BXC heads to Camp Ocoee for our annual team camp, where we'll enjoy an amazing setting while putting together another strong block of training. It's a chance to continue building fitness, strengthen team bonds, and prepare for the season ahead.

We couldn't be more excited about this group. They are outstanding young men and women with tremendous character, talent, and potential. The work they've put in this summer has laid a great foundation, and we can't wait to see what this season has in store.
