The Baylor golf program enters the 2026 season with high expectations as both the boys and girls teams prepare to begin another championship chase.

The Lady Red Raiders return as the defending TSSAA Division II-AA State Champions after capturing the state title last fall. With another talented group returning, Baylor will look to build on that success while embracing the challenge that comes with defending a championship.

The boys team also enters the season with plenty of optimism. After a summer spent competing in tournaments and events across the region, the Red Raiders have gained valuable experience and confidence heading into the fall. On paper, Baylor has the pieces to be among the state's top contenders.

Head Coach and Director of Golf Gary Partrick, with Assistant Coach Rheagan Gibbs, has guided both Baylor teams through a productive summer of training and competition as they prepare for another championship-caliber season. The focus has been on continued development, gaining valuable tournament experience, and being ready to compete from the opening tee shot.

The official start of the season comes next week at the Matt Cunningham Preview, with the boys competing at Black Creek Club and the girls traveling to The Course at Sewanee. The event will provide an early measuring stick as both teams begin their pursuit of another successful season.

With championship aspirations, experienced leadership, and months of preparation behind them, Baylor Golf is ready to tee off another exciting year.
