Baylor continued its strong start to the 2026 season Thursday evening, earning a 2-0 victory over Farragut in a non-region matchup at home.

The Red Raiders struck early in the 10th minute when goalkeeper Ella Metzner delivered a pass to Ayanna Hamler, who finished the opportunity to give Baylor a 1-0 advantage.

That lead held through halftime as Baylor's defense kept Farragut off the scoreboard.

In the 62nd minute, Reese Rowlett was taken down inside the box, earning Baylor a penalty kick. Hamler stepped to the spot and converted for her second goal of the match, extending the Red Raiders' lead to 2-0.

Baylor's defense took care of the rest, securing another home shutout and improving the Red Raiders to 4-0-1 on the season.

"I always love playing Farragut and a team coached by Coach Jessie Burkhart," Baylor head coach Curtis Blair said. "Her teams play with so much passion and grit and make you earn everything you get. These games always push us physically and tactically to our limits and are a great example of high-level high school soccer.

"I'm really proud of our team tonight. Another shutout at home and another strong defensive performance from the entire team. We are starting to show some real growth as a young team, and it's been great to see the leadership and maturity our upperclassmen are providing.

"Proud of the way we competed tonight. We'll continue to learn, grow, and get better!"

Baylor standouts included Harley Elam, Grace King, Charlotte Hoss, Adri Carey, Brylee Faulkner, Kinsley Faulkner, Helena Lima and Macey Conrad.

The Red Raiders return to action Tuesday, Sept. 1, when they travel to face Hardin Valley.
