The Baylor boys and girls golf teams opened the 2026 season at the Matt Cunningham Preview, with both squads finishing in second place.
It wasn't the finish either team was looking for, but it's only the first tournament of a long season. The Preview provided an early look at where the Red Raiders stand and what they'll need to improve as they continue building toward the postseason.
The focus now shifts to Monday's Gibby Invitational at Ooltewah Golf Club, where Baylor will have another opportunity to take a step forward.
The season is just getting started, and both teams remain focused on improving each time they tee it up.
