Game 2: McCallie 4 Baylor 0

Baylor Red Raiders fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 4-0 loss to McCallie on Tuesday.  McCallie scored on a sacrifice fly by Gibsom in the first inning, a single by Choate in the first inning, and a groundout by Jordan in the second inning.

McCallie got things moving in the first inning.  Gibsom's sac fly scored one run for McCallie.

A single by Henry Ford in the fourth inning was a positive for Baylor.

Johnson led the McCallie to victory on the pitcher's mound. The pitcher allowed three hits and zero runs over six and a third innings, striking out 11.  Bernard threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Wells Grisham was on the mound for Baylor and allowed three hits and four runs over two innings, striking out two.  Will Murdock and Brody Womack entered the game as relief, throwing three innings and one inning respectively.

Will Pettway, Amari Jefferson, and Ford each collected one hit to lead The Red Raiders.  Baylor was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Tomas Valincius made the most plays with six.

McCallie collected eight hits on the day.  Choate, Sergeant, and Jordan each collected multiple hits for McCallie.

Baylor record is now 19-2 with Game 3 of the series scheduled for Wednesday at home 7:00 first pitch
