Baylor boys' cross-country squad ran tough in tonight's Front Runner 5-Star-Stride at Heritage HS. Marshall McConville led the team with his 5th place finish. Mercer Murphy, Rob Turner, Owen McKenna, and William Hubbard rounded out the top five as the harriers finished a close third behind Cartersville and Dalton. Cash Carlson won the JV race.

Fast fearless females of BXC dominated their season opener and won the Front Runner 5 Star Stride at Heritage HS. Mae Mae Powe ran away with the meet, winning in 19:19 for the 5K. Junior Addi Greene was second overall in 20:26. Betsy Williams was 8th, Laney Fowler 9th, and Ella Rogers 10th—securing the Baylor win with 27 points. Freshman Peyton Roop won the JV race.
