On a beautiful evening in north Georgia, Baylor's cross-country teams continued to rule. Running all by herself, Addy Cotter roared to her fourth win of the season—winning the Fast Break Challenge at Heritage High School. Led by Cotter, the short-handed (illness, etc.) girls' team nevertheless finished second to East Hamilton—with Laney Fowler (5th), Ruby Dozier (19th), Claire Ellish (20th), & Gracey Weekley (28th) running strong.
Baylor boys' squad was once again dominant. Junior Marshall McConville led the team to yet another meet (44 points) victory, this time over host Heritage HS. Lake Montgomery (5th), Mercer Murphy (10th), Calen Hawk (14th), & Carter Witt (18th) were varsity scoring runners.
Remarkably, both JV squads were double victors: In the boys' race, Brecken McKenna and Rob Turner finished first and second, respectively, followed by Cohen Chavda 5th , Henry Ritter 6th , & Owen McKenna 8th . Peyton Roop won the race to lead a sweep by the Baylor girls: Gaby Glover was 2nd, Rees Hamilton 3rd, Addy Morgan 4th & Charlotte Brock 6th.
