Baylor wins on the road on the back of clutch hitting from Tomas Valincius and the Red Raiders.
Tomas drove in four runs on three hits to lead Baylor past Boyd Buchanan 14-9 Monday night on the road. Valincius singled in the 4th inning, scoring two runs, and hit a home run to right field in the 7th inning, scoring two.
Baylor rallied for the victory despite trailing 5-1 after the 2nd inning. Baylor flipped the game on its head in the top of the 3rd, scoring six runs, with the biggest blow was a single by Nelson McKnight that drove in two to push the lead to 7-5. Baylor keep things going in the 4th scoring five more runs with a Valincius single that drove in two more for the Red Raiders.
Baylor amassed 11 hits on the day with 7 walks at the plate. And Nelson McKnight earned the win for Baylor.
Baylor goes on the road Wednesday vs Miller School of Albemarle at Lindsey Nelson in Knoxville.
