Baylor Wins Big Over CCS In Game One

Baylor wasted no time putting CCS away in Game 1 of the series to start region play for the Red Raiders.

Amari Jefferson drove in 5 to lead Baylor past Chattanooga Christian 14-0.  Amari's first inning 3 run home run started it all for the Red Raiders. He added two singles in the second and third innings, giving him the 5 RBI night.

Wells Grisham earned the win for Baylor. He gave up zero hits and zero runs in his four innings, struck out eight and walked two. Foy Haymaker tossed one inning of relief. Keegan Nieckula took the loss for CCS. 

Baylor amassed 13 hits in the game- Tomas Valincius, Jack Shuman, and Matt Dill each collected multiple hits for the Red Raiders. 

Baylor returns home Tuesday night for game three starting at 6:00.
