Baylor Baseball Takes Down Webb, Prepares for Tuesday Doubleheader
Baylor Baseball went on the road and dominated Webb with a 12-3 victory on Monday. Jack Shuman led the offense, driving in four runs, including a three-run homer in the sixth inning and an RBI single in the seventh. Zack Morrison got things started with a two-run triple, while Blake Lundy launched a solo home run in the third. Rylan Jesse added a clutch two-run single, and Lundy doubled to drive in another run.
On the mound, Matt Dill was outstanding, throwing five scoreless innings while allowing just one hit and striking out six. Brody Brooks came in to close it out for the Red Raiders.
Baylor will now host Webb for a doubleheader on Tuesday, with Game Two starting at 4:30 PM. The Red Raiders look to keep their momentum rolling at home—come out and support!
