Baylor and CCS Play to 1-1 Draw in Region Showdown

Baylor traveled to CCS for the final regular season region soccer match.

At the 28th minute, Bryson Haga (CCS) found the back of the net off a free kick, giving CCS a 1-0 lead at halftime.
In the 53rd minute, Heath Techasiriwan scored off a Phin Ellison assist to even the match at 1-1, which would hold as the final score.

"I thought we defended set pieces very well tonight. We knew CCS is extremely dangerous on those opportunities, and I was proud of how our back four and Carter Weekley stepped up," said Coach Blair.

With the tie:
• CCS secures the #1 seed and a bye to the region final.
• Webb locks in at #5.
• McCallie and Catholic will face off tomorrow to determine seeds #2 through #4.

Standout performances: Thomas Vance, Marshall Bible, George Coyle, Correll Davis, and Mathew Ramirez (GK)
