It was a special night inside The Field House as Baylor Volleyball not only put together a dominant performance on the court, but also joined forces with the Austin Hatcher Foundation to raise awareness for childhood cancer.
The Red Raiders rolled to a 3–0 sweep over Boyd Buchanan, taking the match by scores of 25–11, 25–10, and 25–12. From start to finish, Baylor controlled the pace, mixing strong serving, efficient passing, and powerful hitting.

The match was part of the "Gold Together" initiative, supporting the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer. Both Baylor and Boyd Buchanan came together before the match to recognize the fight against childhood cancer, underscoring the night's greater purpose beyond volleyball.
The Austin Hatcher Foundation provides essential support services for children and families facing pediatric cancer—free of charge. From mental health counseling to family programs, education, and long-term support, the foundation's mission is to erase the effects of childhood cancer and give children and families hope.
It was a night of teamwork, awareness, and community. Baylor Volleyball left with a big win on the court and an even bigger win in shining a light on a worthy cause.
