Hartley’s Two-Homer Game Lifts Baylor to Doubleheader Sweep in Knoxville

Baylor Baseball delivered a complete performance on the road in Knoxville, sweeping a doubleheader against Webb School of Knoxville with a combination of offensive firepower and late-game composure.

The Red Raiders came out swinging in game one, rolling to a commanding 15-2 victory. Baylor set the tone early and never let up, consistently applying pressure at the plate and capitalizing on scoring opportunities to put the game out of reach.

Game two presented a tighter challenge, but Baylor responded when it mattered most. Locked in a competitive battle, the Red Raiders leaned on a breakout performance from Kilby Hartley, who delivered in a big way. Hartley launched two home runs, providing the key offensive spark Baylor needed to secure a 6-4 win and complete the sweep.

The ability to win in different ways—dominant early and resilient late—highlighted Baylor's depth and balance across the lineup.

With momentum firmly on their side, the Red Raiders now shift their focus to next week's National High School Invitational, where they will face elite competition on a national stage.

Great job, Baylor.
