Baylor Soccer hosted the Baylor Invitational Tournament on campus this weekend and put together a strong showing across three matches.
Friday vs BGA-The Red Raiders came out flying.
Antonio Basan opened the scoring in the 7th minute before Liam Guay followed in the 11th minute off a Hunter McCoy assist. Tyler Coleman added another in the 15th minute from Guay, and Basan struck again in the 16th minute off another McCoy pass.
Hartley Workman took over late in the half, scoring three goals with assists from Forbes Burnette (2) and George Coyle to complete a hat trick.
Baylor led 7–0 at halftime and the match finished 7–0.
Saturday Morning vs Bearden-A much tighter contest saw both teams locked at 0–0 at halftime.
In the 73rd minute, Liam Guay broke through with the game winner off an Antonio Basan assist to give Baylor the 1–0 victory.
Saturday vs Maryville
Basan struck again in the 23rd minute off a Guay assist before Maryville equalized on a corner kick in the 29th minute.
The match was 1–1 at halftime and was later called due to lightning, ending in a draw.
