Baylor opened region play with a strong 5–0 win over CCS on campus.
At the 20th minute, Alberth Valcarcel got things started off a Heath Techasiriwan pass. Petar Radoman followed in the 32nd minute, finishing a Correll Davis cross to give Baylor a 2–0 halftime lead.
The Red Raiders pulled away in the second half with three more goals — Liam Guay (61') off a Tyler Coleman pass, Hartley Workman (71') from Thomas Vance, and Preston Munroe (79') off a Kane Parker assist.
"You have to give credit to CCS and Coach Earl for his team going down a man but still being very organized and hard to break down. Their goalkeeper played really well tonight. I thought we played well at times but still trying to put 80 full minutes together. It is nice to keep another shut-out at home." – Coach Curtis Blair
Standouts: Mathew Ramirez (GK), Blayden Schwartz (GK), Noah Chawky, Henry Collins
Baylor moves to 12-1-1 (1-0) on the season.
Next up: a quick turnaround trip to Knoxville Catholic on Wednesday.
