Road Grit. Another Clean Sheet.
Baylor went on the road to Knoxville Catholic and handled a tough region test with a 1–0 win.
Antonio Basan found the net early in the 7th minute off a great setup from Alberth Valcarcel, and the Red Raiders made it stand the rest of the way.
It was 1–0 at the break, and despite chances on both sides, Baylor's defensive unit locked in to secure an eighth straight shutout.
"Give Coach Martin and Knox Catholic a lot of credit. They are very organized and made it really difficult for us.
We are proud that we went on the road and kept another shut-out (8 in a row). Anytime that you can go on the road and get a win and a shut-out in our region is special."
