Baylor volleyball made quick work of Chattanooga Christian on Thursday night, completing a sweep of the Chargers with victories by both the varsity and junior varsity teams on campus.
The Red Raiders controlled the varsity match from start to finish, winning in straight sets, 25-14, 25-13, 25-14.
Taylor Warren led a balanced Baylor attack with 10 kills while adding six assists, two blocks and a dig. Milyn Hold directed the offense with 30 assists to go along with six digs and an ace.
Kenzie Johnson finished with eight kills, while Fergie Hammel added seven kills. Gabby Minton delivered a strong performance at the net with seven kills and a team-high four blocks. Molly Billington contributed four kills, an ace and two digs.
Defensively, Calista Stafford led Baylor with 12 digs, while Rory Oleksik added 11 digs and two aces. Scarlett Kelley recorded three aces and four digs, and Nina Lail added three aces, three digs and an assist.
Willa Provonsha and Leah Gordon each added a kill to round out the Baylor attack.
The victory completed a perfect night against CCS after the Baylor JV team opened the evening with a 2-0 victory.
Baylor now turns its attention to a busy weekend at home as the Red Raiders host the River City Rumble on Friday and Saturday.
