Congratulations to both the boys and girls for dominating the track meet yesterday against CCS. There were a good number of outstanding performances that included quite of few personal records.
The girls were led by senior Maelynn Adams-Cook with four individual wins (HJ, LJ, 100H, 300H). Our other female event winners included junior Hadley Griffith (100 and 200), senior Maddie Winchester (Discuc), senior Franny Brooksbank (TJ), junior Claire Mayberry running exhibition in the 1600, and freshman Xahara Willis (SP). The girls also won all three relay events: 4x100 was Franny, Riley Swinford, Charlotte Hoss, and Hadley; 4x200 was Franny, Maddie Woods, Addy Morgan, and Riley; 4x400 was Laney Fowler, Ruby Dozier, Asha Chavda, and Addy Morgan.
The boys were led by senior Gilbert Stein with three individual wins (TJ, 110H, 300H). Senior Jimmy Bryson won both the SP and Discus. Our other male event winners included senior Gage Whited (100), junior Lake Montgomery (800), junior Mantas Paldauskas (HJ), and junior Liam Bauer (LJ). The boys also won the 4x200 relay (Jack Ferguson, Jamyan Theodore, AJ Bass-Mills, and Jordan Tchuissean.
