Baylor Track & Field welcomed the Blue to campus Wednesday afternoon at Heywood Stadium as we celebrated 22 seniors who have helped build this program.

Conditions were stellar for the Baylor-GPS/McCallie dual meet, and the Red Raiders delivered. The Baylor girls ran, threw, and jumped their way to an 80-66 victory over GPS, while the boys turned in a number of ranked performances and personal bests before falling 89-52 to McCallie.
For the girls, individual event winners included Charlotte Hoss in the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles, Alexys Brown in the discus and shot put, Addy Cotter in the 1600 and 3200, Sienna McCrary in the high jump, and Reagan Caplenor in the pole vault. Baylor also picked up relay wins in the 4x200 and 4x800.
Adding valuable team points with top-three finishes for the Lady Red Raiders were Hadley Griffith, second in the 100 and 200; Cassi Johnson, third in the 200; Addy Morgan, second in the 400 and third in the triple jump; Maddie Woods, second in the long jump; Charlotte Hoss, third in the long jump; Addy Cotter, second in the 800; Kailyn Wilson, third in the 100 hurdles; Ellie Higgs, second in discus and third in shot put; Maggie Mewett, third in the 800; Maddie Hawk, third in the 1600; Gracey Weekley, third in the 3200; and Sienna McCrary and Caroline Moore, who finished second and third in the pole vault.
On the boys side, individual champions were Carter Hoyle in the 300 hurdles, AJ Bass-Mays in the 200, Mantas Paldauskas in the high jump, Emery Julien in the shot put, and Marshall McConville in the 3200. The Baylor boys also earned relay victories in the 4x200 and 4x800.
Other podium finishers and point scorers for the Red Raiders included Jayden Arenas-Michel, second in the discus; Taheim Elaheim, third in the high jump; Harrison Stroud, third in the 800; Carter Hoyle, second in the 110 hurdles; Lake Montgomery, second in the 3200; and Marshall McConville, second in the 1600.
The Red Raiders now turn their attention to the East Regional, set for May 5 and May 7 at GPS, where Baylor will compete for spots in the State Championships.
